Can I change my email address and still sync contacts?

My email address gets updated in Google from "olive@appsio.com" to "katrinaolivia@appsio.com". But in Apptivo, I still have my old email address, how can I change that?

You can ask your admin/super user to change your email address in Employees App, once you changed the email address you will receive an email with a username and password generated by App, you can access Apptivo using that password.

Follow the below steps to change the email address and check sync contacts

  1. Before changing the email address you need to delete all your groups with contacts at Google(olive@appsio.com), which is synced from Apptivo.
  2. Ask your admin/super user to access Apptivo account.
  3. Go to Employees app to view the employee record and delete all roles.
  4. Click on edit button to change your email address. Save the changes and wait for a few minutes.
  5. Add roles for you. You will receive an email with password.
  6. You can access Apptivo by using this password and you can also change your password from preferences page.
