How do I Create Recurring Journals in Ledger App?

Ledger App allows you to create recurring journals by sliding the toggle ON in the journal creation page. It allows you to create a journal entry that occurs more than once, for a certain number of occurrences.

Steps to Create Recurring Journals in Ledger

  1. Log in and access Ledger App from universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “More (...)” icon and select “Settings” from the app header bar.

  3. Select “Security” -> “Actions” found in the left navigation panel.
  4. In the “Actions” dashboard, enable “Recurring Journal” by sliding the toggle ON.

  5. Now, click on “Create” button present in the home page.

  6. Fill in the required details and slide the toggle ON for “Recurring Journal”.
  7. On enabling, three options will be displayed:
    • Frequency - Select the recurring frequency from the list.
    • Start Date - Enter the start date.
    • End On - Select when to end the journal (No end, On a specific day, After a certain number of occurrences).

  8. For instance: select “On a Specific Day” option. Enter the specific date.

  9. Click on the “Create” button.
