Apptivo provides the ability to take the contact and employee information that you have available in your Apptivo firm, and then
copy up all information directly to your Google Apps account.  This allows you to store your data in one central location,
but always have the information available from any device and location.

What do I need to sync my contacts with Google?

1. Google Apps or Gmail account
2. Apptivo account with administrator access

What information will be shared with Google?

• Two new contact categories will be created for your firm
• Employees
• Contacts
• All employee & contact information will be copied into these categories instantly
• Updating any contact or employee will instantly change their information in Google

How do I enable contact syncing?

Enable Data Sync for the Firm

A firm administrator must complete this step one time before employees can sync data.

1. Log in to Apptivo
2. Click your name in the upper right corner, then click “My Firm”
3. Check the box “Enable Google Data Sync”, then click “Save”

Enable Data Sync for Your Personal Account

Each employee can configure whether their account will be synced.

1. Log in to Apptivo
2. Click your name in the upper right corner, then click “Preferences”
3. Click the “Google Contacts Sync” tab
4. Click the green “Authorize” button
5. Contacts will be synced.

3. To export all leads, select a date from before your Apptivo account was created.

4. Now you will see a list of the matching leads.  Click the green “Export” button.

If you have already read the guides about getting started with the invoices app, and how to set up the invoices app to receive electronic payments, then it's time to connect your existing Paypal account to Apptivo! This specific tutorial is for connecting your Paypal account.

Apptivo also offers the ability to integrate with either Google Wallet, or Authorize.net for invoice payment collection.

1. Click on the configure button in the Invoices App, and go to the "Online Payments" tab.
2. If you do not have Paypal yet, click the "Create Paypal Account" button to register
3. Once you have a Paypal account, click the "Next" button to continue
4. Now we will go to the Paypal website, and log into our account.
5. Click on the "Profile" link at the top of the page
6. Click on "My Selling Tools" in the left column
7. Find "API Access" in the list shown, then click the "Update" link
8. Click the "Request API credentials" link
9. Select "Request API signature", then click "Agree and Submit"
10. Now your API details will be displayed.  Leave this window open, or write down this information.
11. Now we'll go back to Apptivo, and click the "Next" button again
12. On this screen, we will now enter the API Username, API Password, and Signautre.  Now select "Live/Production", and select whether a customer needs a Paypal account to complete the payment.

All done!  Now your invoices will include a link at the bottom to process the payment with your Paypal account.
