How do I Customize Reminder in Invoices App?

You can two options to set invoice reminders in Apptivo Invoices App. They are described below. You can choose the one that suits your business the best.

  • Automatically send
Automatic email reminders are managed in Settings. You can create one or more  reminders for your invoices. These can be removed, disabled or edited at any time.
  • Show in Reminder Queue
Invoice reminder queue is managed in Settings. Here you can create one or more reminders that is for your invoices. These can be removed, disabled or edited at any time. 

Both the options that are mentioned above can be used as per your business demands. For instance, when your payment terms changes.

Create and send invoice to a customer, if your invoice is long overdue. This will use all the active reminder rules for your invoice. This can be viewed in the Invoices app under "Payment Reminders" menu.

Lets have a look at how to set invoice reminder email

Steps to Set Invoice Reminder Email

  1. Log in and access Invoices App in your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on "More"icon and select "Settings" located at the app header bar.
  3. Click on “Reminders” from "Invoice" drop down from the left navigation panel.
  4. Click on “Create” button and specify:
    • Days past due – Number of days past due.
    • Message Template – Select a message template from a predefined list.
    • Reminder send option – Select an option whether to send automatically or need to show in reminder queue.
    • Toggle On the Enabled option .

  5. Click on “Create” button to save the reminder.
  6. You can also update the reminder information by clicking on "Edit" icon, if needed.
  7. By default the created reminder will be in enabled mode.
  8. You can also disable the reminder to stop reminding the customer temporarily.
  9. Click on "Delete" icon to delete the reminder in order to stop reminding the customer permanently.
