How are user time zones handled while scheduling events?

You can specify a time zone for any of the activities. Activity timing is automatically converted into the selected time zone. This conversion includes all activities such as call log, task, etc.

Steps to set the preferred time zone

  • Log in to your account. Click on the User Menu from the home page.

  • Click on “Preferences” from the dropdown list.
  • In the General settings, select the General option. Choose your preferred time zone from the “ Your Timezone” dropdown.

  • The changes are saved automatically.

  • If you create an appointment in your local time zone, your employee can view the appointment’s time converted to an equivalent time of his local time zone.

For Example

An employee “Nadia James” creates an appointment on Nov 25, 2021(from 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM) with the time zone of “Eastern Time – America/New York”. You can view the created appointment as shown in the image below:

Event Created

This appointment created by “Nadia James” can be viewed by an employee “Caroline Forbes” from her account with the time zone of “Niue - Pacific/Niue”. You can view the appointment scheduled date would be converted to an equivalent time as shown in the image below:
