How do I Create PDF Templates in the Orders App?

Orders App allows you to create your own custom templates to generate PDF versions of your Orders created. The customization can be done according to your business requirements.

Steps To Create

  • Log in and access the Orders App from your Universal Navigation menu.
  • Click on More(...) icon and select the Settings.

  • In the Settings page, click on the Customize App and select Print/Web Layout.
  • Click on the Create button and select the Start with the Default Layout. 
Settings

  • Add the Template name in the Create Template pop up and click on the Next.
Create Template

  • Here, you can edit the Templates by using the Drag and Drop editor.
  • You can customize the template file name, Page Layout, Page Size, Page Margin.
Standard Template

  • Using the Drag & Drop option, you can edit the Templates with the Attributes on the Right side Palette. 
One Column

  • With the following tabs like  Sections, Business attributes, Customer attributes, Order attributes you can customize the template according to your preferences.
Barcode

  • You can also edit the Template by JSON code in the JSON editor.
JSON Editor

  • Click on the Save button to update changes.
Save

  • By clicking on the Preview button, you can Preview the edited Template.
Preview

  • You can view the Preview of the Template with the provided information.
Preview PDF

  • You can view the created Template on the List.
Template List

  • You can set the created template as the default template by selecting a template from the dropdown.
Default Template

  • Now, go to the Create Order page you can view the default template.
