How do I Customize Categories in Customers App?

A category is used to segment customers. This will help the user to be better organized. Every business will categorize its customer differently. When the customers are categorized, it will be easier for the marketing team to choose the customers when they plan and strategize target marketing campaigns.

Apptivo CRM allows the users to create new categories based on their analyzes.

Steps to Create New Customer Categories

  1. Log in and access Customers App from your universal navigation menu bar.

  2. Click on "More" icon and select “Settings” located at the app header bar.

  3. Click on “Categories” from left navigation panel.

  4. Click on “Create” button to create a new category and specify:
    • Name - Name of the category.
    • Price List - Select a Price list. 
    • Description - Description about the category.
  5. Click on "Create" button to complete.
  6. By default the created category will be in enabled mode.
  7. You can update the category information by clicking on "Edit" icon, if needed.
