How do I Customize Data Level Access in the Leads App?

As a Senior Sales or Marketing Personnel, you can set access privilege to all or certain team members. By default access privilege is given to all the Employees of an organization.

 has several configuration settings that allow you to adjust the way the app functions. Here you can customize the Data Level Access as per your requirement. That is you can set the access privilege for your most trusted team members.

Lets take a quick look at the steps to customize leads data level access.

Steps to Configure Leads General Settings

  1. Log in and access Leads App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “More” icon and select Settings located at the App header bar. 
  3. Click on “Security” from the left navigation panel found at the bottom left and select "Access Level" menu.

  4. You can view “Lead Access Level” setting which allows, restricting the Leads App visibility. It includes
    • All – Everyone with access to Leads App. 
    • Employees – Specific Employees who are assigned to leads.
  5. Apart from specific employees, you can provide access to other users by enabling the Exception toggle. [May be your Sales Manager or General Manager]

  6. After enabling, you can add other users by clicking on "+" icon. It can be either employees or teams.[Make sure that all employees under team should have that required app access]
