Contacts app allows you to convert your Contacts to Leads and Customers using conversion feature. When your contact becomes a lead or a lead becomes customer, you need to convert the concerned contact in to a lead or customer. The following steps allows you convert a contact into either a lead or customer.
Steps to perform Standard Conversion
- Log in and access Contacts App from your universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on the “More” icon and select “Settings” located at the App header.
- Select "Contacts" dropdown. Click on “Conversion” from the left navigation panel.
- Conversion feature allows contacts to be converted into:
- By default, "ON" status is available that allows conversion. If you switch "OFF", it restricts conversion.
- All your changes will be automatically updated.
- Consider converting a record to Leads in the Leads App. As the toggle is enabled for both Customer and Lead, you can instantly convert to Customer and Lead. In the Overview page, click on the Convert button --> To Leads.
- The record will be converted into a lead on a single click. The Create Lead page will come into view.
