How do I disable a contact category?

  • Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Contacts App. Here, select Settings from the App Header.
Settings

  • In the Settings page, go to Contacts → Categories. The Categories page will appear in the right panel.
Categories

  • In each row of Categories, there is an option to edit, disable, and delete a category.
Actions

  • Click on the disable icon to disable a particular category.
Disabled Category

  • While creating a new contact or updating a new contact, the disabled category will not be available in the Search and Select Categories popup.
