Why does my CSV Upload says “Records Skipped” when Importing Leads, Contacts, Customers?

When importing data from a CSV file format into the leads,or Contacts app, at times you may encounter an error message "Records Skipped". This is because there is a mismatch between the row count and CSV headers count. It can be rectified.

How to rectify this error or work around this error

The solution is to open a spreadsheet program like Excel/OpenOffice,

  1. Create a blank file.
  2. Copy your data into the new sheet and save as CSV text format.
  3. Then “Re-import” the CSV into App.
