How do I search for Emails?

Email activity in Apptivo is a dedicated App to manage your Emails. For Organizations, it becomes tedious to go through each Email to find the required email. Apptivo allows you to perform simple and advanced searches to lessen your time and make your work effective.

Simple Search

The simple search allows you to search using a single search field located in the header bar. Here, you can enter any values associated with your email to locate it.

For Instance: You are looking for an email with the subject Feature. You can locate it by using the Simple search feature.

This search is advantageous if you have the exact information on what you are looking for. The simple search takes various values into account like Email From, Email To, Subject, Any term from the body of the email.

Advanced Search

Advanced search is recommended when there is no clear picture of what you are looking for. This search allows you to narrow down the list using multiple search fields.

You can access the advanced search feature by clicking the down arrow in the simple search field in the header bar.

You will be prompted with the Advanced Search tab. Here, you can filter your records based on various values.

• Search In: This feature searches the email from the selected Application in the Search In dropdown. You can also set it to All Fields.

• Has the words: You can add the keywords of the email to locate it.
• You can also locate based on the To Address, From Address, Subject, and Message.

• Emails activity allows you to search the email based on the status like Draft, Sent or Received.
• You can also filter out your emails based on choosing a date range.

For Instance: Consider advanced search is set for Reviews as Subject and 22/01/2020 to 23/01/2020 as the date range.

You can see the email is filtered accordingly.
