How can I Introduce our VAT Number in the Estimates?

You can include VAT (Value Added Tax) number in estimates in two ways.

  1. You can include VAT number in PDF
  2. You can include it in Tax setting.
Here is the example to include your VAT number based on your location terms into an estimate.

Include VAT Number in Estimate PDF

If you include this VAT number in PDF templates by default this VAT number will be attached to your estimate PDF. Whenever you send an estimate to your customer this number will also be included.

Steps to Include in Estimate PDF

  1. Log in and access Estimates App from universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on "Settings" from the app header bar.

  3. Click on "Print/Web layouts" under "Customize App" dropdown located in the left navigation panel.

  4. Under "PDF Templates", click on the required "View Template".
  5. Drag and drop "Free Text" into any of the section.

  6. And Enter the value in "PDF Templates" as shown in the image below:

  7. You can view the "VAT Number" in "Estimate PDF" as shown in the image below:

Include VAT Number in Tax Setting

This setting allows you to include VAT number at time of estimate creation, either you can select the VAT number or not. This is optional.

Steps to Include in Tax setting

  1. Click on "Taxes" from left navigation panel.
  2. You can either edit and change the existing tax or can create new tax.
  3. Enter the VAT number into a "Tax Code" field which is mandatory.

  4. Now you can able to view VAT number in estimate creation page and also in PDF as shown in the images below:

  5. You can change the "Tax Code" label in PDF as "VAT #" in "PDF Templates" setting.
