How to set visibility condition on customers?

Visibility dependency is one of the field properties in Master Layout. This feature allows you to define the condition to show or hide the particular field. By default, the Visibility section shows that the field is visible in all conditions.  In the following example, you are setting a criteria for Premium Customer. That is when the category is of premium customer, the related tags is visible to the user.  Lets quickly  go through the steps.

Steps To Set Visibility Dependency:

  1. Log in and access Customers App.
  2. Click on More(...) icon -> Settings -> Customize App -> Master Layout
  3. Click on particular field to set visibility feature You will view the inspector column at the right side in which you would find the field properties.
  4. Enable the “Visibility” toggle to “On”
  5. Define the condition for that field to be visible
  6. Here, “Tags” field is set to be visible when “Category"= "Premium customer” as shown in the image below:

  7. Click on "Save" button to save the changes.
  8. On the Customer create page, when you select "Category" Type as "Premium customer", you will view "Tags" field as shown in the image below:
