How can I give access to users to export customers record

To protect the customer data in Apptivo CRM module Customers App, data export is not enabled in any of the user accounts by default. Only the adminstrators are given the privilege to give access to t

Apptivo Customers App allows you to provide access to the users who are deputed to export Customers.

The users who have privilege for export feature can access the “Export” option found under “Bulk Actions” drop down in “Show All” page of Customers App. Lets walk through the steps to set access permission.

Steps to give permission for users to export Customers

  1. Log in and access Customers App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “More” icon and select “Settings” located at the app header bar.

  3. Click on “Actions” from security drop down from left navigation panel. 
  4. Locate the “Export” option from “App” section and click on privileges drop down.

  5. Click "Create privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down. 
  6. Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the "Export" option.

  7. Click on "Create" button .
  8. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  10. Now, employee Mark Henry has the privilege to export Customers. In Mark Henry login, the “Export” option will be visible as shown in the image below:
