How do I allow my users to add Customers into target list?

Target lists are modules that consist of individuals or other businesses that you want to include in a marketing campaign.  You should be aware of the fact that 

  • Each campaign can be related to several target lists
  • Each target lists relates to a combination of customers

The target list can be a combination of multiple target lists based on the  certain relevant criteria such as

  • Geographical location
  • Industry type
  • Segments 
  • Age group

Apptivo Customers App allows you to provide access to the users to add targets for Customer in Customers app. The users who have the privilege for ”Add to Target List”, can use that option found in the overview page of a Customer.

Steps to give the user permission to add Customers into the target list

  • Log in and access Customers App from your universal navigation menu.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings. 

  • Click on Actions from security dropdown from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.
  • Locate the Add to Target List option from the Object section and click on privileges dropdown.
  • Click the Create privilege option found at the bottom of the privilege dropdown.

  • Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the Add to Target List option.
  • Click on the Create button.

  • After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  • Now, employee Rose Jensen has the privilege to add targets for Customers. In Rose Jensen’s  login, the “Add to Target List” button will be visible as shown in the image below:
