How do I allow my users to add Customers into target list?

Target lists are modules that consists of individuals or other businesses that you want to include in a marketing campaign.  You should be aware of the fact that
  • Each campaign can be related to several target lists
  • Each target lists relates to combination of customers

The target list can be a combination of multiple target lists based on the  certain relevant criteria such as
  • geographical location
  • industry type
  • segments 
  • age group.

Apptivo Customers App allows you to provide access to the users to add targets for Customer in Customers app. The users who have privilege for ”Add to Target List”, can use that option found in overview page of a Customer.

Steps to give user permission to add Customers into target list

  1. Log in” and access “Customers App” from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “More” icon and select “Settings” located at the app header bar.

  3. Click on “Actions” from security drop down from left navigation panel.
  4. Locate the “Add to Target List” option from “Object” section and click on privileges drop down.

  5. Click "Create privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down.
  6. Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the “Add to Target List” option.

  7. Click on "Create" button.
  8. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  10. Now, employee James William has the privilege to add targets for Customer. In James William  login, the “Add to Target List” button will be visible as shown in the image below:
