How do I allow users to email a Customer?

Email communication is one of the ways to keep in touch with the customers. When your customer is a B2B one, you need to keep them in loop about the latest offerings of your company.  Email privilege is a high security privilege that is given to selected few employees who can be trusted. Apptivo CRM allows you to set the email privilege to a selected few employees.
Advantages of using Email in Business Communication

Email in business is used for inter as well as intra company communication. Email campaign are one of the marketing tactics. Again business emails are send to customers, suppliers as well as  business partners.  A few common benefits of business emails over snail mail include the following

Apptivo Customers App allows you to provide access to the privileged users to email a customer. The users who have privilege for mailing the Customer,can use “Email” button and also the email icon found in overview page of an Customer.

Steps to give user permission to email a Customer

  1. "Log in" and access "Customers App" from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “More” icon and select “Settings” located at the app header bar.

  3. Click on “Actions” from security drop down from left navigation panel. 
  4. Locate the “Email” option from “Object” section and click on privileges drop down.

  5. Click "Create privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down. 
  6. Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the Email option.

  7. Click on "Create" button .
  8. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  10. Now, employee James William has the privilege to email a Customer. In James William login, the “Email” button  will be visible as shown in the image below:
