How do I Allow My Users to upload the Photo of a contact in Contacts App?

Apptivo Contacts App allows you to provide access to the users who have the privilege to upload a Contact’s Photo. The users who have privilege for photo can set the Contacts Photo in overview page of Contacts App.

Lets quickly go through the steps to understand it better.

Steps to Give an Access to Set Contact Photo:

  1. Log in and access Contacts App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on "More" icon and select “Settings” located at app header bar.

  3. Select “Actions” under “Security” drop down from the left navigation panel.

  4. Locate the “Photo” option from “Object” section and click on privilege drop down.
  5. Click "Create privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down.
  6. Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the “Photo” option.

  7. Click on "Create" button. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  9. Now, employee Mark Henry has the privilege of having Contacts Photo. In Mark Henry login, photo can be set as shown in the image below:

Note: If you disable the toggle against "Photo":

Now, the employee cannot set contact photo in the Contact’s overview page.
