How do I Allow My Users to Perform Search / Advanced search in Expense Reports?

The privileges are the permission granted to some of the users to perform a specific action. Expense reports app allows you to provide the access to the user who are deputed to perform the actions in expense reports. You can use the security roles to group the privileges and give access to the employees. Lets have a quick at how to set privilege to an user to perform search.

Steps to Allow User to Perform Search / Advanced Search in Expense Reports:

  1. Login and access Expense Reports app from universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “More” icon and select “Settings” from the app header bar.
  3. Click on “Security” drop down and select “Actions” from left navigation panel.
  4. Locate the “Search / Advanced Search” option from “Apps” section and click on privileges drop down.

  5. Click "Create privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down.
  6. Create privilege pop up appears.Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the “Search / Advanced Search” option.
  7. Click on "Create" button .
  8. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  10. Now, employee Mark Henry has the privilege to perform bulk actions on Leads. In Mark Henry login, the “Search / Advanced Search” option will be visible as shown in the image below:
