How can I Give Users Permission to Access Advanced search Option in Employees App?

Employees App allows you to provide access to the users who are reputed to view "Advanced Search" option in Employees App. The users who have privilege for reports are able to access "Advanced Search" option found in app header bar of Employees App.

For instance: If a super user (Katie Dustin) wants to give privilege to his employee (James William) for access advanced search option, then he will do the following steps. .

Steps to Give Permission to Users to Access Advanced Search

  1. Log in and access Employees App from your universal navigation menu bar.

  2. Click on “More” icon and select “Settings” located at the app header bar.

  3. Click on “Actions” from security drop down from left navigation panel.
  4. Locate the “Advanced search” option and Click on privileges drop down.
  5. Click "Create Privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down.

  6. Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the "Advanced search" option.
  7. Click on "Create" button.

  8. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

  10. Now, employee James William has the privilege to view “Advanced search” option in Employees. In James William login, the “Advanced search” button will be visible as shown in the image below:
