How do you view Newsfeed in a Side panel?

Apptivo Newsfeed is the constant update of happenings which is used to display the current activities. We have a brand new update on Newsfeed as side panel view that is supported in Estimates, Orders, and Invoices App. Whenever you create or update a record, it will get reflected in the Newsfeed. We have made it easier for you to view each activity in the Detailed newsfeed.

For instance: If you go into Estimates App viewing Newsfeed it will display you the information regarding Estimate and information affiliated with it.

Now, let’s have quick steps of how Newsfeed is viewed in the side panel

Steps to View Newsfeed as a side panel

• Login and access to the Estimates App from the universal navigation menu bar.
• Click on the “Create” button from the left navigation panel.
• In Estimate, page Provide the details and click on the “Create” button.
  
  
  
  
• The estimate is successfully created.
• Once an estimate is created, the notification will be seen instantly on the Apptivo homepage as both Simple and Detailed Newsfeed.
• Similarly, the notification will be seen in the particular App(Estimates App) page and Inside Object (Here, Estimate record) page.
  
  
  
  
• Move on to Estimates App. You can view the Newsfeed on the homepage of the Estimates App. (if newsfeed is not your default home page view, you can customize it from the “Customize App -> Views”).
• You can now view the Newsfeed(simple) in the Customer’s home page.
• The detailed Newsfeed as a side panel view can be seen by clicking on the hyperlink so that you can view the newsfeed of a customer in detail.
  
  
  
  
• Modify the Estimate and save the changes(Here, Contact and Expiration date).
  
  
  
  
• The changes will be updated in the Newsfeed, and that could be viewed in the side panel view.
