The Adobe Flash plugin lets you hear and see Flash content on Chrome on your computer. Apptivo Documents App access Adobe Flash Player to upload documents from your computer.

Steps to Turn on Flash
Only allow Flash to run on websites that you trust.
- On your computer, open Chrome browser.
- Then, log in to Apptivo site and access to the documents App.
- In this page, to the left of the web address, click “Lock” or Info View site information and click “Site Settings”.
- In the new tab access to permissions. To the right of "Flash", click the Down arrow and then select “Allow”.
- Go back to the Apptivo site and reload the page. As the Flash is turned on in the Chrome browser, the documents app will display the “Upload” button.
Fix common problems with Flash
The following are the common error messages you get in Flash.
- Adobe Flash has been blocked because it's out of date
- Couldn’t load plugin
- The following plugins were blocked on this page
- This plugin is not supported
- A plug-in (Shockwave Flash) isn't responding
If Flash isn't working or you see the above error messages then try the steps below.
Steps to Update Flash
- To update the Flash, open Chrome browser in your computer.
- In the address bar at the top, enter “chrome://components” and press Enter.
- Search for "Adobe Flash Player".
- Here, click “Check for update”.
- If you see "Component not updated" or "Component updated", you're on the latest version.
- Go back to the document app in Apptivo website. If it doesn't open automatically, click Reload.
Steps to Update Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More.
- Click Update Google Chrome. If you don't see this button, you're on the latest version.
- Click Relaunch.
Steps to Reinstall Flash
Make sure that you only install Flash from Adobe's website.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Go to adobe.com/go/chrome.
- Under "Step 1," select your computer's operating system.
- Under "Step 2," choose the option that lists "PPAPI."
- Click Download now, and follow the steps to install Flash.
If you quit Chrome, your Flash settings won’t be saved. The next time you open Chrome, you’ll have to allow Flash again for any sites you added before.
Block all sites from using Flash
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
- At the bottom, click Advanced.
- Under "Privacy and security", click Site settings.
- Click Flash.
- At the top, turn off Ask first (recommended).
Remove a site you blocked or allowed
- At the top right, click More and then Settings.
- At the bottom, click Advanced.
- Under "Privacy and security", click Site settings.
- Click Flash.
- To the right of the site, tap “Remove”.
