Custom views can allow you to create customized views by defining the criteria as per your requirement. The custom views created by the user will be listed in the left panel views of cases app. Customized views are usually created using the attributes(column fields) that are frequently used.

For instance: A login user(Carter Alan) wants to create a custom view to view the records assigned to him as well as the records assigned to him and his team (Product team).

Now, let us quickly go through the steps to view the records assigned to the employee and team.

Steps to create custom views:

  • Log in and access Cases App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  • Click on the “More”-> “Settings” -> “Customize App” -> Views".
  • Now, you can create views, in the following two ways:
    • Click on “+” icon near the “Views” to create a new view.
    • Click on "Views" -> "Create" button present.
  • Let us create a view “Cases assigned to me”. Set the criteria “Assigned To” as Dynamic with “Login User”.
