Apptivo: QuickBooks upgrade to OAuth 2.0
Updated on January 2, 2020 04:00AM by Admin
Dear Customer,
Due to a recent change in QuickBooks’ OAuth configuration, Apptivo will be updating its integration to support the change and improve security measures.
The current version of QuickBooks, OAuth 1.0 will stop the syncing process from December 17, 2019. In an effort to avoid any interruptions to the service, please complete the following steps:
- Log in to Apptivo and navigate to Invoice App.
- Click on “More Options” → Exports.
- In the left panel, navigate to QuickBooks → Online → Settings.
- Now, select “Disconnect” from the top right.
- You will be prompted that you are disconnected from QuickBooks.
- Now, click “Connect to QuickBooks” and you will be redirected to “QuickBooks App Store”. Select “Connect” to re-establish the connection.
Note: If you are logged out from QuickBooks in your browser, you will be initially redirected to the login page.
- Select ”Sync from QuickBooks” from Invoices App.
- You will receive a notification stating the import is complete.
- Once the configuration is complete, the credit and debit account value can be chosen from the dropdown to complete the process.
Note: Repeat the steps above to update the QuickBooks configuration in Supplier Invoices and Expenses Reports App (if they are being used)
We appreciate your patience and understanding. For any queries, please feel free to contact us at support@apptivo.com and we will reach out to you immediately.
Sincerely,
Team Apptivo
