How to generate a Property Report from the Opportunities App?

Properties are also considered as Opportunities. Especially when you do real estate business, all the properties are considered as an Opportunity. So, it becomes a necessity to get a combined data of both the Property and the buyer. Apptivo offers generation of combined reports from both Opportunities and Properties App.
- Go to Settings in the Opportunities App → Report → Property Report.
- Click on Create to create a new report. You will be redirected to Create Associated Property Report.
General Information
- Add the information in the required fields.
Description: For easy understanding and identification, you can add a description for the report.
- Now, you have to set the Filters for both Opportunities and Properties. This configuration helps to create a report based on the chosen fields.
Configuration in Opportunities
In this section, you have to set the attribute criteria for which the report has to be generated. Here, you can also select the attributes that have to be generated in the Report. This removes redundant attributes.
Filter Attributes
You can create filters when a report is generated. For instance, if you want to generate a report only for the Qualification - Sales stage. Then, the Sales Stage can be added as an attribute. Then, in the report page, you can select the filter and generate the report.
Property Filter Criteria
Enabling the Property filter will display the criteria on the Reports page.
Result List Layout
You can select the attributes for the layout from the Result List Layout section. The Available attributes refer to the attributes available in for each record in the Opportunities App. You can move the required attributes alone to the Selected Attributes area.
- You can also revert the changes by clicking the < or << button.
Configuration in Properties
You can select the attributes that have to be generated in the report and remove the redundant attributes which are not needed in the report in this section. You have to select the attribute criteria for which the report has to be generated.Filter Attributes
Create filters when a report is created. For instance, if you want to generate a report based on the Property type. Then, Type can be added as an attribute.
- Here, Type is added as an attribute.
- You can also add more than one attribute to the filter.
Result List Layout
You can select the attributes for the layout from the Result List Layout section. The Available attributes refer to the attributes available in for each record in the Properties App. You can move the required attributes alone to the Selected Attributes area.
- You can also revert the changes by clicking the < or << button.
- Once the settings are configured, navigate to the Reports page in the Opportunities App.
Generation of Reports
- Go to Reports → Commercial Buildings (Name of the Report).
- You can see as per the configuration, the Sales stage is added as a filter for Opportunity Information and Type is added as a filter for Property Information. Click on the dropdown and choose a filter.
- Once the filter is set, click on View Report. You will receive a notification that an email will be sent with the Report.
- You can view the completion alert from your email.
- On clicking History in the Commercial buildings report, you can see the list of reports generated on different dates.
- Click on more on a particular report to view the records associated with it.
- You can click on Export to download the records. The records will be downloaded in .csv format.
