How do I associate multiple Leads with a Customer in Apptivo?

CRM Apps in Apptivo is an effective tool to maintain all records related to your Customers, Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities. However, there might be multiple records in any App which must be associated with a single record in any other App. In these cases, you can use the Associated Objects feature in Apptivo to get the task done.

  • For Instance: Consider you want to associate multiple Leads from the Leads App with a single record in the Customers App.
  • Go to SettingsCustomize AppAssociated Objects.
Associated Objects

  • Here, you can see the different Apps that can be associated with the Overview page of the Customers App.
  • By default, you can see it is enabled to associate the records from the Leads App, Opportunities App and Contacts App with the Customers App. Since our objective here is to associate Leads, it is already enabled.
  • You can also set the Privileges for who can associate the Leads. Only those employees who have access can perform the action.

Note: The privileges have to be set from the Employees App for Employees.

  • Now, create a new customer record in the Customers App.

  • Once the record is created, navigate to the Overview page of the record. Here, you can see there is a table to associate Leads. Click on Add to associate the Leads from the Leads App.

  • You can add more than one Leads to the Customer record. It will be saved automatically.
Multiple Leads

  • Click on Add to associate the lead with the Customer.

  • You can also select Create to create a new Lead which will be associated with Customer.
Create

  • The lead will be associated with the Customer. You can click on the More Details icon to redirect the Lead’s page in the Leads App. You can click on Delete to remove the record from Apptivo.
