Using Ref App fields you can fetch records from any other apps in Apptivo. By using Master Layout you can select the attributes that you wish to include. You can simply drag & drop the Ref App and the Ref App field and can fetch the phone numbers of any customers. This feature helps you to fetch records right away instead of manually entering the details.
- Login and access Contacts app from the universal navigation menu bar.
- Now click on More details from the app header and select Settings.
- Now select Customize app→ Master Layout from the left side panel.
- The Master Layout page will open, here we are adding the attributes to the Additional Information column. Now drag and drop the Ref app from the palette to the place where you want to drop the attribute.
- Now drag & drop the Ref app field from the palette to the place where you want to mention the field.
- When you click on the Reference App 2 you will be shown the inspector tab from where you can fetch the Reference field details. Select Reference App 2 as Opportunities.
- Here the Reference object is mentioned as Reference App 2, which is Opportunities and the Reference field is mentioned as Phone number.
- Now create a new contact using the Create command.
- In the overview page you can see the Reference App 2, click on the Search icon and you will be shown the lists of customers.
- Select the opportunities of which you need to fetch the phone number.
- Once you select the phone number of that particular Opportunities, it will be automatically displayed on the Reference App field 2.
