How to create a new status to the Tasks App?

Tasks App of Apptivo empowers you to create and manage tasks associated with your business. With the status feature, you can keep track of the tasks easily. Apptivo offers a list of statuses that are commonly used in businesses. You can also create a tailor-made status to meet up with your business purpose.

Ariel is an employee of Dreamscape Businesses. They deal with animation and design. She is new to the office. So, she is asked to get all her designs reviewed by her team leader before implementing it. She uses Tasks App to keep track of her work. However, she needs status to mark the tasks that require Pending Review. She asks her manager to create Tasks App to create a new status.

Steps to create a new status

  • Log into your Apptivo account. From the Apptivo Home Page, select Tasks Activity from the side pane.

  • In the Tasks Activity, select Settings to configure the status of your tasks.

  • In the Settings page, select General → Statuses. The Statuses page appears in the right pane. Select Create to create a new status.
Create

  • The Create Status popup window will load. Here, add the name and description of the status. Select Create.

  • A new status is added to the statuses section.
Status Added

  • This status will appear in the Status dropdown of the Additional Information section while creating a new task.
