How to add the current date automatically in the Customer’s profile in Apptivo?

  • Login to your Apptivo account and navigate to the Customers App. In the Customers App, select Settings → Customize App → Master Layout → Customers.

  • In the Master Layout, drag and drop the Date attribute from the Palette in the right pane.

  • Click on the Date attribute to view the Inspector tab. Here, you can change the name. Scroll down to the Default Behavior section.
  • Enable the toggle for Default Value and select the type as Dynamic.

  • On choosing Dynamic, select the Custom Data button.
Custom Data

  • The Function Editor window appears. As the current date is to be displayed, click on Today to display the date of creation of a record. Select Create.

  • Save the changes in Master Layout.
Master Layout Updated

  • When a new customer profile is created in the Customers App, the date of creation of the record will be pulled automatically.
