How to map the attributes of Cases with Events while creating an event in the Cases App?

Apptivo’s Cases app allows you to create an event with an attribute value in the cases. The mapping option empowers users to create an event with the selected attributes from the Cases app. This ensures that the events will have customized data depending on the cases.

Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.

Steps to map the attributes of Cases with Events

  • Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Cases app. In the Cases app, select Settings.

  • On the Settings page, go to Collaboration. Here, scroll down to Calendar.

  • Here, enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Calendar toggle. Now, select Mapping.

  • You will be redirected to Cases → Calendar Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields. Here, the Case# of Cases app is mapped with the Title of the event.

  • Save the changes. Now, create a new case or open an existing case in the Cases App. Switch to the Calendar tab and select Create.
  • The title of the event is the Case# of the particular case by default.
