How is Cushion/Gap value calculated in the Performance dashboard of the Opportunities App?
Updated on May 25, 2020 08:02AM by Admin
The Cushion/Gap value of the Opportunities App is calculated based on the Sales Planning App’s quota.
The access level differs for superusers and non-superusers.
Performance Dashboard of Superusers
For superusers, the Gap/Cushion value is calculated from the Individual Quota of all the employees in the Sales Planning App.- In the Opportunities App, select the Performance dashboard from the left panel.
- The dashboard will come into view. Setup the filter as All.
- Here, the dashboard displays the Cushion Value of the Opportunities by calculating the individual quota of all the employees in the Sales Planning App.
Performance Dashboard of Non-Superusers
For Non-Superusers, the access limit depends on the Security Access Level configured in the Opportunities App.
Instance 1: When Security Access Level is configured as ‘All’
- Go to Settings → Security → Access Level. Check if the access level is configured as All for both View and Edit.
- Now, select the Performance dashboard from the Opportunities Home Page. Configure the Filter as All.
- The dashboard displays the Cushion value of the opportunities by calculating the individual quota of all the Employees in the Sales Planning App.
Instance 2: When Security Access Level is configured as ‘Employees’
- Go to Settings → Security → Access Level. Configure the access level as Employees only.
- Now, select the Performance dashboard from the Opportunities Home Page. Set the Filter as All.
- The dashboard displays the Gap value of the Opportunities by calculating the Organization quota of the logged-in user from the Sales Planning App.
Note: If an employee is added as an exception in the Security Access Level, then that user will be treated as a Superuser.
