The Grid View layout can be configured as the default view of your Documents tab across any record in any application of Apptivo. To achieve this, there are two means by which you can set the default view.
- Business Settings - For Superusers
- Preferences - For Non-Superusers
- Connect to your Apptivo account and select the User Menu from the top right corner of your Apptivo Home page.
Configuring from Business Settings
- Select Business Settings from the User Menu. You will be navigated to the Business Settings page.
- Select the Collaboration option from the left menu. In the Collaboration page, the list of activities available in the Apptivo account will be displayed.
- Scroll down to the Documents option. Expand the view.
- You can see the Table View and Grid View. Both views are enabled by default.
- The view which is placed first will become the default view. Here, you can see the Table View is ordered first.
- Click and drag the Grid View to set Grid View as the default layout.
- Once the view is rearranged, you will be notified.
Configuring from Preferences
- Click the Preferences from the User Menu. You will be redirected to the Preferences page.
- Select the Collaboration option from the left menu. In the Collaboration page, the list of activities available in the Apptivo account will be displayed.
- Scroll down to the Documents option. Expand the view.
- You can see both the Table View and Grid View. Both views are enabled by default.
- The view that is listed first will become the default view. Here, you can see the Table View is ordered first.
- Click and drag the Grid View to set Grid View as the default layout.
- Once the view is rearranged, you will be notified.
Viewing Documents Tab in Grid View
- When you navigate to the Documents tab across any record in any App of Apptivo, you can see the default view is Grid View.
