How to auto number transactions in Move Transactions App?

  • Select Settings from the App Header of the Move Transactions Home page.

  • Select App Behavior → Number Generation from the left navigation panel to view the Number Generation page in the main window.
  • Here, go to the Transaction Number Generation section.
Settings

  • To utilize this feature active, keep the Auto Generate toggle enabled.
  • You can also set the Prefix and Starts With. In the Prefix field, you can add a static text or Year of Move Transactions Date.

  • In the ‘Starts with’ field, you can add the starting number of the series.
  • Here, it is configured to have the Prefix as YDC and starts with value as 1000.
Numbering Saved

  • Create a new record in the Move Transactions App. Since the Auto Generate feature is enabled, the Transaction # is marked as Auto-generated number.
Create Page

  • The Transaction # of the created record is generated according to the set up in the Settings page.

  • The corresponding records will follow the number sequence mentioned.
