How do I disable the salutations in Contacts App?

  • The Contacts App of Apptivo allows you to add salutations for the contact name.
With Salutation

  • To disable salutation, select Settings from the App Header of the Contacts App.

  • In the Settings page, select Customize App → Master Layout from the left navigation panel.
  • The Master Layout comes into view.

  • Select the First Name field to view the Inspector tab. Here, you can see Salutation is enabled by default.

  • Disable the toggle to hide the Salutation field and save the changes.

  • When you navigate to the overview page of contact or create a new contact, the salutation field will not appear.
