With the Mapping feature of Apptivo, users can map the fields present in a project with the call logs created in them. By this, the fields shown while creating call logs will automatically display the values of the mapped fields in the associated project.

Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.

Steps to map the attributes of Projects with Call Logs

  • Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Projects App. Select Settings from the App Header.
Projects App

  • In the Settings page, go to Collaboration. Here, scroll down to Call Logs.

  • Enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Call Logs toggle. Now, select Mapping.
Enabled Toggle

  • You will be redirected to Projects→ Call Logs Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields. The Call Subject, Type, and Call Date fields of Tasks are mapped with Name, Priority, and Start Date of projects.

  • Save the changes.
Mapping Complete

  • Create a new project or open an existing project in the Projects App.

  • Go to the Call Logs tab and select Create.
  • The Log Call window will have the values mapped in the configured fields. For instance, the Call Subject will be the project’s name as per the mapping. This also applies to other mapped fields.
