The Work Orders App of Apptivo allows you to attach an app layout in the email templates. By this, you can easily pull an existing layout to your template.
Steps to attach app layouts
- In the Work Orders app of Apptivo, select Settings from the App header.
- Go to Email → Email Templates from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.
- Either create a new template or open an existing template.
- Here, a new template is created. In the Create Template page, add the name, subject, and content of the email.
- Select the Attachment icon. Along with other options, the “From App Layout” option is also listed. Click on it to see the list of file attributes available in your app’s layout.
- Select a file attribute to add it as an attachment to the email template. Save the changes.
- Go to the overview page of a work order. You can see the file added in the File attribute. You can use this email template while composing emails on the overview page or from the Emails tab. Here, switch to the Emails tab.
- Click the Compose button to compose an email. Choose the configured email template.
- On scrolling down the Compose window, you can see the file added in the work order is attached to the email automatically.
