The Orders App of Apptivo allows you to create notes with the information available on the overview page of an order. By this, you can map the values present in the fields of the order’s overview page with the fields present in the Notes.
Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.
Steps to map the attributes of Orders with Notes
- Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Orders App. In the Orders App, select Settings.
- In the Settings page, go to Collaboration. Here, scroll down to Notes.
- Here, enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Notes toggle. Now, select Mapping.
- You will be redirected to Orders → Notes Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields.
- Here, the Description field of notes is configured to have a formula. Select the Formula Editor option.
- The Function Editor window will appear. Here, choose the attributes whose values are to be included in the field using the Insert Attributes dropdown.
- Here, it is configured to include the Sales Rep and Order #.
- On selecting create, the function is added to the mapping.
- Now, create a new order or open an existing order in the Orders App.
- Switch to the Notes tab and select Create.
- The fields in the Create Note window will have the values as per the configuration. For instance, the description field contains values from Sales Rep and Order # as per the customization in the mapping page.
