How to create an event with the sales return information?

The collaboration tools available in the Sales Returns App helps to create events, notes, tasks, or send emails. You can also map the values present in the fields of the overview page of a sales return with the fields present in the calendar while creating an event.

Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.

Steps to map the attributes of Sales Returns with Events

  • Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Sales Returns App. In the Sales Returns App, select Settings.

  • In the Settings page, go to Collaboration. On the Collaboration page, select Calendar.

  • Here, enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Calendar toggle. Now, select Mapping.

  • You will be redirected to Sales Returns → Calendar Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields. Here, the Sales Return # and Sales Return Type fields of Sales Returns App are mapped with the Title and Location fields of the calendar.

  • Save the changes.

  • Navigate to the overview page of a sales return in the Sales Returns App.

  • Switch to the Calendar tab and select Create.
  • The fields in the Create Event window will have the values as per the configuration. For instance, the Sales Return # is added as the Title of the event according to the mapping done.
