How do I create a task with employee information in Employees App?

The Employees App of Apptivo has a mapping feature that allows you to create tasks by populating values from the overview page of an employee record. By this, you can map the values present in the fields of an employee with the fields present in the tasks.
Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.
Steps to map the attributes of Employees with Tasks
- Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Employees App. In the Employees App, select Settings.
- On the Settings page, go to Collaboration. Here, scroll down to Tasks.
- Here, enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Tasks toggle. Now, select Mapping.
- You will be redirected to Employees → Tasks Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields. Here, the First Name and Date of Joining fields of Employees App are mapped with the Name and Due Date fields of the tasks.
- Save the changes.
- Now, go to the overview page of an employee.
- Switch to the Tasks tab and select Create.
- The fields in the Create Task window will have the values as per the configuration.
