How to configure email notifications for incoming emails?

Apptivo Cases app allows you to create email notifications for incoming emails. You can create an instant email notification as per your preferences based on the cases or hashtags. The email notification can be triggered for any, Employee, Team, or Attribute whenever they receive the email based on the configured email template.

Steps to Create Notifications

  • Login and access your Cases app from your navigation panel.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.
Cases

  • From the Settings page, click on the Email Notifications dropdown under the General section.
  • Click on the Email Received option and enable the Toggle for Email Notifications.

  • By enabling the toggle, you can view the create button and click on it.
Create

  • In the Create Notification page, enter the name and description.
  • On the Notify Recipient section, specify the recipient details.
  • You can view the list of email templates that are created under the email templates section.

  • In the Trigger To drop-down, you can view and select whether you want to send the notification for any attribute, Employee, or Team.
  • Based on the selection, you can set the notification as per your preferences.
  • Here, the employee option is selected.
Notify recipient

  • Now, in the Choose option, search and select the employee whom you want to send the notification.
  • Then, click on the create button.
Triggers to

  • The email notification for incoming email is created.
  • Here, the added employee will get instant notification when they got a reply from the customer based on the cases tagged on the email template.
