How to set the minimum and maximum value for Currency attributes?

Apptivo allows you to customize your application as per user requirements. It allows you to add the additional customized currency attributes and configure them with Minimum and Maximum value restrictions by using the Master Layout. You can simply restrict the value to be entered on the currency attributes.

Let’s go through the steps to add the currency attributes and steps to add the minimum and maximum value range.

Steps to Follow

  • Login and access the Estimates app from the universal menu.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.

  • From the Settings page, click on the Customize app and select the Master Layout.
  • On the master layout, drag the currency attribute from the palette section and drop it in the Estimates details section.

  • Click on the number attribute, you will be redirected to the Inspector tab on the right side.
  • Rename the attributes as the Base Value.
  • Scroll down to view the Standard Behaviour to view the Minimum and Maximum Value range.

  • Here, the value set as Minimum as 300 USD and Maximum as 500 USD.
  • Click on the Save button to update the changes.

  • Go to the create invoice page, you can view the Distribution copy field.
  • If you enter a value less than 200 USD and tried to create an invoice, you will be getting the error pop-up for the minimum value range.
Minimum Error

  • At the same time, if you enter a value above 500 USD, at that time also you will be getting the error message for the maximum value range.
Maximum Error

  • It allows you to add the value between the configuration. Here, it allows you to add the value ranges between 200 USD - 500 USD only.
