How to update the template layout through bulk actions in Invoices?

Bulk Update allows you to update multiple records simultaneously. For instance, you want to edit a couple of invoice templates from one template to another. Instead of changing the layout on each record manually, you can select those records and change the preferred templates and click on update. The templates will be updated in all selected invoices simultaneously.

Steps to enable Bulk Update

  • Login and access the Invoices app and click on the More(...) and select Settings.

  • On the Settings page, click on the Security → Actions.
  • Scroll down to view the Bulk Actions and enable the toggle for Bulk Update.
  • All the changes will be auto-updated.

Steps to Execute Bulk Action

  • Go to the Estimates home page and click on “Show All” from the “Lists” drop-down from the left navigation panel.
  • Select the bulk invoices by checking on the "Check box" against the required contacts.
  • Once you select more than one contact, the “Bulk Actions” drop-down gets available.

  • Click on the “Bulk Actions” drop-down to view all possible actions.
  • Selects the Update → Invoice Details → PDF Template from the drop-down menu.
Update

  • Now “Bulk Actions - PDF Template” popup emerges and selects Templates for those invoices.
Bulk Actions

  • Click on the “Update” button, to complete.
