Master Layout in Apptivo allows you to customize attributes on the application based on your requirements. Hierarchical view of the attributes helps to view all the attributes on the hierarchical view. You can enable/disable the attributes or entire section with the help of this feature. Let’s go through the steps to enable/disable the fields on the Hierarchical view of the Employees app.
Steps to configure
- Log in and access the Employees app from the universal navigation bar.
- Select Settings from the App Header.
- From the Settings page, click on the Customize App → Master Layout from the left navigation panel.
- Click on the Hierarchical View icon in the top right corner.
- Here, you can view the list of Sections and Attributes.
- For instance, under the Employee Details section, disable the Enable App Access, Department and Tags fields toggles.
- The remaining fields, Employee ID, First Name, Last Name, Email, Date of Joining and Manager fields toggles are in enable mode.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
- On the Create Employee page, you can view the enabled fields but you can’t view the disabled fields i.e, Department, Enable App Access and Tags fields under the Employee Details section.
