The Invoices app of Apptivo enables you to create new PDF templates by using the template of an existing invoice PDF. With this feature, you can avert the hassle of creating new PDF templates from the scratch and create new templates by making changes to the existing templates.
Steps to create a copy of the invoice PDF template
- Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Invoices app. Here, select More → Settings from the App Header.
- On the Settings page, select Customize App → Print/Web Layouts from the left navigation panel.
- To create a new template an existing template, select Create → Copy from another template option in the Print/Web Layouts page.
- The Create Template From Another Template window comes into view. Here, choose the template from which you want to create a new template in the From Template field.
- Further, add a name for the new template in the Template Name field.
- On clicking the Next button, a new template is created successfully.
- You can keep the template as it is or make the changes to the template by adding sections and attributes from the Palette.
- Save the changes.
- You can use this new PDF template while creating a new invoice or editing an existing invoice.
