In Opportunities App settings, Actions allow providing access to the users who are deputed to certain privileged actions. The users are given access to the application as well as a privilege for a specific action. The Action privilege helps you to provide the ability to perform delete, create, and other actions, only for a few employees, as per the roles that you’ve assigned to them.

Steps to create a Privilege:

  • Log in and access the Opportunities app from the universal menu bar.
  • Click on More(...) icon and go to Settings→ Security → Actions.
Sec, Action
  • Scroll down and you can see the Delete toggle under the Object section.
Scroll Down Delete
  • By disabling the Delete toggle, the delete option won’t show up on the opportunity page for all the employees.
  • You can define who needs to view the delete button, through privilege.
  • Click on the Privilege dropdown and select the Create Privilege to add privilege.
