PipeDrive reports are sub-par, buggy, and simply doesn’t help the sales team.
“Reporting is subpar for a CRM, no way to track leads without putting them into pipeline, freezes out all the time, inaccurate statistics”
Many PipeDrive customers felt that its reports lacks intuitive filter and sometimes the numbers are incorrect. The PipeDrive lacks many of the advanced filters and reports that growing and enterprise businesses would need. Thus, it has minimal use when taking critical business decisions and designing strategies. A customer posted a review online saying,
“Reports are buggy and plain wrong”
In addition to the mixed user interface reviews, PipeDrive reporting experience is just another problem in calling for businesses. The visuals of the reports generated aren’t easy on the eye either. It lacks charts and many other elements that could make reporting actually useful.
Some of the frustrated customers reviews are below,
“Where Pipedrive ultimately failed us was in the reporting. As we grew and we needed to know what products were selling best and what customers were interested in what things and such, we just couldn't get it out of Pipedrive.”
“The visuals can be improved and more charts can be introduced to smartsheet for reporting purpose.”
Unlike PipeDrive, Apptivo with it’s advanced reports and the ability to generate custom reports coupled with user-friendly UI proves to be a better choice.
For the features and value it offers and PipeDrive’s price is so unfair for any businesses. Especially with so many other alternatives out here on the market.
“I think the price point is a bit high for the value it offers, and it could incorporate more data input automation.”
For the price, the PipeDrive is sold, they've made some serious compromises on values and features. Unless businesses have very tough for businesses to run just solely on PipeDrive alone.
“I just hate how it costs. It has some great features and integrations - but I don't think cost is reasonablea.”
Though their basic plan seems moderately priced the values they offer are not sufficient for any established or growing businesses to run solely on PipeDrive. Any growing businesses could outgrow PipeDrive in a matter of months and it’d cost whole lot more to switch to another CRM software.
“Also if you are planning on growing beyond a company size of 10 then look elsewhere. You will quickly outgrow this software”
When you decide to move up the plan the pricing gets expensive($62/user/month) for a very little value. This could dramatically increase the overall pricing of the software budget you’ve set.
Some of the customers reviewed,
“Its priced high for its limited functionality, formatting leaves something to be desired, and getting to specific data can be cumbersome.”
“I don't like the cost per user, becomes very expensive.”
This is where Apptivo standout from the rest of the other CRM solution out there. Apptivo encourages businesses to pay for licenses solely for the employees who will be using the system. In addition to this, Apptivo also provides flexibility in pricing based on user volume.
With its limited integrations, it's very hard for businesses to thrive just using PipeDrive.
“Integrations with other applications seem limited at the moment.”
Moving to a new CRM system will be one of the big decisions any businesses has to take. When they actually decide to move, they’d except some of the old tools to be integrated with new CRM software. With the amount of time and money invested, it’s not easy for businesses to get rid of a software that they’ve been using for years. So, if the new CRM they adapt doesn’t have the right integrations it’s going to be difficult to acquire new customers.
PipeDrive is one such CRM solution with only a handful of third-party integrations which leaves you no other option but to rely on services like Zapier to connect your other apps to your PipeDrive account. This will be expensive and requires lot of time learn and manage Zapier.
“Once you start adding features and integrations, it can become expensive.”
In conclusion, PipeDrive stills lacks some of the mandatory features and third-party integrations that any customer would look for in a CRM application. So, if you’re a business using a software already and looking for a CRM solution then PipeDrive might not be the best options out there.
Whereas Apptivo is seamlessly integrated with G Suite and Office 365 for contact sync, several major payment gateways for online transactions, and more than 200+ applications directly and indirectly via Zapier and PieSync.
Support responses are slow and the only way to get in touch is via email or chat. And, no support on weekends.
Like features and integrations, customers also look for the best Support in a software. A great customer support not only keeps the customer happy but also acts as a free marketing for any type of businesses.
“The customer service team is not a quick as you would think. There is also no phone number to contact everything is via email or online chat which can make things difficult.”
The Live Chat function for support doesn't seem fully operational. Customers sometimes receive only automated response since when they need them the most. Not just that, PipeDrive support is only available on weekdays and not available on weekends.
“They can improve their customer support.”
When a user needs support, they’ve already entered into “frustration mode. And if the support isn’t available when they need it the most it kind of defeats the whole purpose of saying that “we have great support”.
“Customer service can be better.”
Let’s assume that you’ve scheduled a data migration process on Saturday for your business and something goes wrong. Now, you’re stuck and you need PipeDrive support more than ever. But you’ve got no option but to wait till Monday.
Unlike PipeDrive, Apptivo Customer Support operates 24/7 throughout the year and supports Live Chat, Email, Call, FAQs, and User Guides.
