How do I Configure the Status Visibility in the Ideas App?

The Ideas Status describes the current status of the ideas (Created, Submitted, Approved, Rejected, Implemented). This ideas statuses will change accordingly as you proceed with it. Each status will have a specific action which an employee can perform to advance the ideas to the next status.

Consider the scenario, where based on your business, some ideas which were found to be efficient were implemented successfully. So now, you do not want to view the closed ideas (that is, “Status = Implemented” and “Status = Rejected”) in the “Show All” page. In that case, on disabling the visibility of the statuses, the respective ideas can be hidden from the Show All page.

Steps to Configure the Status Visibility

  1. Go to Ideas App.
  2. Click on “More (...)” icon -> “Settings” -> “Ideas” -> “Statuses”.
  3. In the Status overview page, slide the toggle OFF for the “Implemented” and “Rejected”.
  4. Now, the ideas with the implemented and rejected status will not be displayed in the “Show All”.
  5. Once the visibility is disabled, you can find the ideas with those statuses only under the:
    • By Status
    • Advanced Search
