How do I Create Custom Views in Cases app?

Custom views can allow you to create customized views by defining the criteria as per your requirement.The custom views created by the user will be listed in the left panel views of cases app. That is it can be saved. Customized views are usually created using the attributes(column fields) that are frequently used.

  • If you want to view more cases information, you need to select fields from “Display” dropdown.
  • You can save our custom view of cases information for your future reference in “My Views”.
Let's quickly go through the following steps to understand better.

Steps to Create My Views in Cases App

  1. Log in and access Cases App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “Search” icon located at the app header bar.
  3. You can view the search results as shown in the image below:
  4. Click on “Please Choose” button in "Display" field. Select fields you would like to view in a table format.
  5. Click on “Save as View” button and specify:
    • View Name – Name of the view.
    • Share With Other Users – Click “ON” to share views with others. If needed.
  6. Click on “Save” button.

For instance:

  1. We have created a view in the name of "High Priority Cases".
  2. Click on "My Views" from the left navigation panel on cases dashboard.
  3. You can view the created views, as shown in the image below:
