How do I create a Contact from Customer?

Customers App allows you to convert your Customers to Contacts using the conversion feature. You can customize the conversion process as per your requirement. Let's take a quick walk through these simple steps.

Note:  This feature is available on Enterprise, Premium, and Ultimate plans. If you're in the Starter plan you have to upgrade your account to use this feature. Refer Apptivo Pricing Plans to learn more about our pricing plans.

To convert your customer into contact:

  • Log in and access Customers App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  • Click on the "More" icon and select “Settings” located in the App header bar.

  • Select "Customers" drop-down and then click on "Conversion" from the left navigation panel.

  • Now, enable the contact conversion toggle button and Click on Mapping next to Contact to map the fields.

  • Map the fields from Customers to Contacts.

  • Choose a Customer that you want to convert to Contact, click on the Convert in the Customer Overview page and select To Contact.

  • You will be re-directed to the Contact creation page populating the existing information mapped.

  • Fill in the other fields and click on the “Create” button.
